A Lesser Known Bailout For Credit Card Debt

Even as the rounds of government-sponsored corporate bailouts make the rounds in the media, a lesser-known form of bailout is readily available to help consumers find their way out of debt and stabilize their financial circumstances.

This news may come as a surprise to the millions of smaller businesses and individual consumers who may be asking where they can find the help they need when dealing with the unscrupulous lending practices of banks and credit card companies.

What is this bailout? The focus is largely upon credit cards. For years now, consumers have racked up enormous debts because they were encouraged to use their credit cards to make any and every kind of purchase, from groceries to the daily cup of coffee. The interest and fees that have accrued on all of these purchases have created so much debt that most cardholder cannot begin to repay the balance.

This bailout, unlike the one being offered to corporations by the U.S. government, is not funded by taxpayer dollars. More importantly, it is not typically newsworthy, meaning that it is unlikely you will hear it on the evening news. In fact, there is no money whatsoever involved in the bailout. What is it? The secret is debt elimination.

With debt elimination, you can legally discharge every cent of their credit card debt-all without taking out additional loans, subsidies, or government intervention. This sort of personal bailout can be an alternative to bankruptcy and a means for consumers to regain their financial footing. However, please be aware that there are several companies who use scam debt elimination techniques, a thorough check on the debt elimination company’s background can save a lot of problems from happening.

It should be noted that mortgages and auto loans, two primary forms of secured debt, are not eligible for debt elimination services. Yet, it is clear that if monthly credit card bills can be done away with, there would be more money available to take care of these obligations.

Americans are looking for debt relief. There is a variety of options that can help achieve this goal, but not every option will provide the best solution. While negotiating or settling debt is still the fastest way to pay off debts, debt elimination may be less costly. This option is not a matter of settlement or a type of bankruptcy, and it does not have the long-term negative effects on your credit that those other options do.

YOu talk about debt elimination in this article, but another article on this website states some debt elimination is a scam. What debt elimination is being talked about here? Where is there more information to help in navigating what good debt elimination is? What is it?

  2. Frank says:

The article speaks of debt elimination of your credit card debt. This is feasable.

The scams involve companies that take control of your debt and claim they can eliminate all of it – auto loans, home loans, etc because credit lines are illegal.

These companies are generally bogus and should be avoided.

  3. Lincoln says:

The article presents the message in the similar manner as that received from the “for profit credit assistance providers” – in that it gives incomplete information and no information as to where to get factual information.

Where is the information about how to actually accomplish what the article proports? Each highlighted word tok me to a site who was looking to “sell” their product instead of specific information about debt elimination.

The article is intended for information only – not a full guide to debt elimination of these debt types. We do not offer this service and we can’t recommend any third party for visitors to use this service – for obvious reasons.

We offer debt consolidation loan quotes on site, that is all.

There are 2 links in the article, one for a credit card site and the the other a warning of scamming debt company services.

We hope that the article has made readers aware of this type of debt elimination, that is all it was intended to do.

if you want to take credit card debt settlement advice from a professional, you should be able to trust the advisor fully. So you need to check the credentials of the credit card debt settlement advisor/company.
There are hordes of people and companies that advertise “credit card debt settlement in one day” which will appear incredible.
Such credit card offers are generally not genuine.
